Discover N2 across Portugal

Discover Portugal riding the famous road N2 from South to North! Starting with the countdown of 738 km in the center of Faro and ending 7 days after in Chaves at the km 0 !

Ride across Portugal with MTBcamps.

Starting from Algarve, Faro towards the punchy climbs of the south surrounded by the cork trees.

Followed by the plains of Alentejo, where the life seems untouched by the modern world.

As you approach the north the hills start to get longer and vegetation greener. Last day of riding guides you through the famous Douro wine fields and arriving to Chaves few kilometers away from the border of Spain.

There are 7 days of riding and the route is divided by the ascent meters, making approximately 1300-1600 m+ a day, that can make 85 up to 140 km a day. The accommodation is high quality rural hotels, that add to the experience of riding through Portugal and staying in typical housing in the different parts of Portugal. We can adjust the trip by the fitness and needs of your riding group, from 5 riding days up to 9.

The essence of the trip is to get to know Portugal by bike, stopping at local villages for coffee and snacks, capturing moments while riding through the different landscapes.

Overnight stays are chosen to add to the experience, to get the sense of different ways of living throughout Portugal.
