One day bike tours
Our guided day tours provide you a fantastic day out riding local roads and trails and sightseeing the area. All our one day bike tours are available either with a mountain bike, gravel bike or road bike. Our MTBcamps guide will make sure that the route will match the chosen bike and your pace.
All one day tours start and finish in Luso village or other village nearby on request.

Bussaco day tour
Ride in the magical forest surrounding Luso, visiting the Bussaco castle garden, single tracks leading out of the castle complex, Napoleonic war monuments, lovely views to Caramulo and Serra da Estrela.
Fitness level - suitable for all. ​​
Bairrada day tour
Ride begins with a descend from the mountain side arriving to endless miles between the wines. Typical vineyard and cedar tree unpaved roads, passing small villages and towns. Views to the Bussaco forest and finally climbing back up to Luso.

Caramulo day tour
On this tour we will be climbing to the highest point of the area 1098 m above sea level - iconic place called Caramulinho. We have breathtaking views to the valley and mountain ranges, we pass different landscapes to arrive to the top. Roman roads and small mountain villages.
Fitness level - low to moderate recommended. ​
Moinhos day tour ​
Moinhos means mills in Portuguese. On this tour we explore the area and arrive to different local wind mill groupings on hill tops. Views to the valleys and passing through little villages and fun trails.

Castle day tour ​
On this tour the trails will take us to from the hilly side to the plains of Coimbra. Then along Mondego river until Montemor-o-Velho. Amazing and well preserved castle welcomes us on a hill top. Then along the Bairrada vines we return.

Mortágua day tour ​​
Great tour to immerse into forest and finding small mountain villages on the way. River side trails and calm country side ride. Grand river dam passing and eucalyptus forests surrounding Mortágua area.

Tour for the single track lover! We will be riding to local single track capital, the journey will be full of single tracks, some flow and also some demanding trails. Endless single tracks to keep your attention high.
