Mountain and ocean tour
Our guided tour takes you around Caramulo mountain, then heads to the coast line visits Aveiro. Then travels through medieval castle to make a stop in university city Coimbra, winds through the vineyards and heads back to Luso.
The route is perfect for every level and fitness, it is a mixture of dirt and paved roads, with very little traffic. Excellent tour for first timers on mountain/gravel bike.
The 5 main stops are Luso, Tondela, Termas São Pedro do Sul, Aveiro and Coimbra.
The total is around 370 km for the 5 days of riding.

Tour is suitable for mountain bikes and gravel bikes, if wished route can be altered to suit road bikes.
Tour is available as guided with bag transfer or guided bike-packing tour.
We can arrange bike hire and also transfer from airport or other cities when needed.
Day 1 -
arriving to Luso, (optional transfer from airport to hotel), check-in and setting up the bikes for the tour. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2 -
bike day from Luso to Tondela. Day totals 66 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3 -
bike day from Tondela to São Pedro do Sul. Day totals 63 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4 -
bike day from São Pedro do Sul to Aveiro. Day totals 81 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5 -
bike day from Aveiro to Coimbra. Day totals 100 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving to hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 4 -
bike day from Coimbra to Luso. Day totals 53 km, with a planned cafe stop to refill and refuel. Arriving back to initial hotel in Luso. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5 -
farewell from Luso, (optional transfer to airport).
